This prize is an annual acquisition prize awarded to a visual art student from any secondary year level within the School. The criteria for consideration in the selection of an artwork for the St Luke’s Art Prize are: a very high standard of work; visually and aesthetically appealing; suitability of size, medium and durability; appropriate subject matter. A panel of staff and parent representatives selected the St Luke’s Art Prize winner for 2016.

This year the St Luke's Art Prize was awarded to the entire Year 11 Art Class for their recreation of the painting "Felix the Magic Dragon" by Rae Heint.
