Welcome Back

Welcome to Term 1, 2021 at St Luke's Anglican School. We welcome back returning students and families as they progress up to a new year level of education, but also extend a very warm welcome to all the new students and their families who might be entering into Prep or the Early Learning Centre this year, or simply arriving from any other school from Bundaberg, Queensland, or throughout Australia.

To assist with your child(ren)'s schooling we've developed this all-encompassing information page of everything you need to know for your readiness into 2021 education at St Luke's.

BYO Technology

St Luke's Anglican School has an essential Bring Your Own Technology (BYOT) Program in which students from Years 7 to 12 are required to bring their own devices from home to access the free wireless network throughout the campus to assist in their learning, the access of digital textbooks, and the access specific and essential software. Devices students may use are:

  • Google Chromebook (recommended) available from Acer, Asus, Toshiba, Samsung, HP, Lenovo and Dell
  • MacBook Air, MacBook Pro or MacBook
  • Windows 7-10 Laptop

Limitations exist within the education environment on devices such as iPads, iPods, Androids (Samsung) and Windows-based tablets. So while St Luke's recognises the value that these devices can add to education, it regards them as secondary devices. Students may bring these devices if they wish, and they will be supported by our ICT team, but it is important that students also have a essential device, listed above, as their primary computing learning tool.

Stationery Requirements

All St Luke's year level stationery lists have been provided to our preferred stationery provider, Chippindall's Newsagency, located in Bourbong Street and Stocklands, Bundaberg.

However if you prefer to view, print, or download your own list, stationery lists for all year levels can be viewed by clicking this link.

Following are the three school handbooks, free to view, print, or download. Each handbook is a comprehensive guide to each school of St Luke's. Please click any link to be redirected to your Handbook of choice.
